imagebin: Construct nxn binned image from unbinned

The "imagebin" program can create binned images from unbinned images.

Usage

The program is invoked by the command line:
imagebin [options] <imagefilename> [write=imagefilename]
Different image file types are recognized from their names.

The outputfile produced by the program contains a header that is slightly edited from the original to represent the new image size, and the binned data. The output file always consists of a single frame without repeats. If the input was an unbinned "SPE" file, the output file is a normal KCD file; some extra fake columns are appended by the program in this special case.

Command line options

The program accepts the options to determine KCD file scaling. The default output file name is binned.kcd. The only other option is:
factor=n
Sets the binning factor (normally 2x2).
mode=n
Sets the dezingering mode (default -1). If this number is positive or zero, it selects one frame from the image. If the number is set to -1, the image is properly dezingered.
