Usage:
kc [fg] [directory with data]By default, "kc" will try to retrieve the detector ID from the header of the newest ".kcd" file in the current directory. If, however, you are processing data that are located in another directory, that directory can be specified on the "kc" commandline, and the detector ID will be retrieved from the latest ".kcd" file in that directory. If no ".kcd" file can be found, a dialog box will pop up asking for the detector ID.
By default, "kc" will launch the DENZO SMN gui, and then return to the command prompt (it backgrounds the GUI). If you are using the 1998 version of DENZO SMN, this backgrounding can be inhibited by the "fg" option.
Once in the DENZO SMN gui, you can build up the experiment manually, or alternatively you can "Load" a ".sav" file previously prepared with the makesav command.
