makempeg: Convert series of KCD images to an MPG file

"makempeg" can convert a series of KCD files to an MPEG stream.

Usage:

makempeg [options] <imagefilenames>
Different image file types are recognized from their names. The specified images should form a single series of successive images.

Options recognized by the program are:

maxsize=n
If images are larger than the specified number of pixels in either direction, they are binned before the conversion. Default "maxsize=1200"
You must have the "mpeg_encode" program installed on your system. This program can be downloaded from the internet at:

The "makempeg" program will: The output file name is named "<seriesname>.mpg".

To view the video on your system, you will need a player that is able to play back mpeg-1 video. Due to patent issues, Linux distributions usually are not shipped with the codecs required to display proprietary file formats. If your current installation can not display the created video file, a good choice is to install the VLC media player. You can find a version suitable for your operating system at:
