microscopetest: display image of video microscope

"microscopetest" will display a regularly updated image obtained from the video microscope on the KappaCCD.

Usage:

microscopetest [hostname] [options]

If no hostname is given, the connection will be made to the default ccd host.

If the "n=#" option is given ("#" representing an integer number between 1 and 9999), the program will not display the images, but store this number of consecutive images in "x####.bmp" files in the current directory.

If the "delay=#" option is given, the program will wait the specified number of seconds between images.

The "shutter=open" option is not for use with the normal camera, but only for a special X-ray camera that can be used to look directly at the (attenuated) primary beam (contact your sales representative if you are interested in such a camera). Do not use the "delay" option with this, because the shutter is not closed between images.

Please note that only one connection to the video microscope can be open at the same time. The program will fail if somebody else is using the connection.
